Founded in 1893, the IACP is the world’s oldest and largest non-profit membership organization of police executives, with more than 19,000 members in more than 100 countries. The IACP’s leadership consists of the operating chief executives of international, federal, state and local agencies of all sizes. The Association’s goals are to advance the science and art of police practices and promote their use in police work; to foster cooperation and the exchange of information and experience among police administrators throughout the world; to bring about recruitment and training of qualified personnel; and to encourage adherence to high professional standards of performance and conduct.

The 2004 IACP Law Enforcement Education and Technology Exposition brings together law enforcement professionals to examine the state of the police industry, assess the latest in security and contingency plans, and participate in professional development programs. Participants hone their skills, network with colleagues from around the world and see hundreds of the latest law enforcement advancements in the industry’s largest exhibit hall.
